MAHOGANY is a fine grained hardwood with a medium texture. The grain is straight but may contain parallel runs resembling ribbons. Color is generally reddish brown but may sometimes be lighter with a pale red to grayish tinge. The beautiful color tones will become richer and deeper with age. The engineered stile and rail door pictured above is a raised panel door from the "Preakness Series" which features single-hip raised panels with profiled sticking.
